Shelby Watch Co. – Refunds & Warranty

Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at support@shelbywatchco.ca. Returns should be sent to the following address:

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@shelbywatchco.ca.

Please note: We cannot accept returns on gift cards or final sale items.


Original shipping fees and duties are non-refundable. Failure to follow our specific international shipping and customs instructions may result in a deduction of duties/taxes from your reimbursement.

Pre-Order Return Policy

All pre-orders can be canceled for a full refund prior to shipping. Once the pre-order item has shipped, it falls under the Shelby Watch Co. 30-day return policy.

Damages or Dead on Arrival (DOA)

Please inspect your order immediately. If your item is non-functional or damaged out of the box, contact support@shelbywatchco.ca within 48 hours.

For confirmed DOA cases:

  • We will cover the full cost of standard return shipping through a refund to your original payment method. We do not reimburse for express couriers unless pre-authorized.
  • You must ship your watch back in original packaging along with proof of purchase.
  • A replacement will be dispatched once the original item is received and inspected. If a replacement is not available, we will provide the option for a similar model, store credit, or a full refund. 

 

Note: Failure to follow our specific international shipping and customs instructions may result in a refusal of the shipment or a deduction of duties/taxes from your reimbursement.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the one you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Two-Year Limited Warranty

Shelby Watch Co. offers a standard two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, or the shipping date for pre-orders. This warranty is non-transferable and covers manufacturing defects.

This warranty covers defects resulting from faulty materials or workmanship during normal and reasonable use. It does not cover:

  • Damages from unauthorized repairs, work, or modifications

     

  • Scratches on the case or bracelet resulting from regular wear and tear

     

  • Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or accidents

     

  • Water damage if the watch is submerged beyond its rating

     

  • Water damage if the crown was left open

     

  • Failure to service the watch at recommended intervals

     

  • Any condition not resulting from a defect in materials or workmanship

To initiate a warranty claim, please visit shelbywatchco.ca/warranty with your original order confirmation number.

We will review your submission and provide a conditional approval via email. This includes your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and our shipping information. Approval is pending a final physical inspection.

International customers must follow our specific customs declaration instructions provided with your RMA. Shelby Watch Co. reserves the right to refuse any shipment that incurs customs duties or taxes due to incorrect labeling by the sender.

Please send a photo of the shipping receipt to support@shelbywatchco.ca. If your warranty claim is approved, we will reimburse your inbound shipping up to $40CAD via PayPal or original payment method. 

Once received, we inspect the watch.

If Approved: We repair and ship it back at our expense. When applicable, Shelby Watch Co. will replace the internal movement for ease and speed of service. The previous movement may be repaired and inserted into another case to be sold as a refurbished product at a discounted price.

If Refused: If the issue is due to misuse, we will provide a repair estimate and return shipping quote. You may choose to proceed with the repair, have the watch returned “as-is” (customer pays shipping), or remit the watch to us for parts/refurbishment.

Items left at our facility without a decision or payment for more than 60 days after a quote is issued will be considered abandoned property.

Repairs & Servicing

Repairs outside of warranty can be quoted on a case-by-case basis. Regular servicing of the watch is recommended to keep it fully operational. Service includes:

  • Cleaning and lubrication of the movement

  • Replacement of seals and gaskets

  • Water resistance testing

  • Regulation of the movement to +/- 10 seconds

With recommended servicing every 5 years, a Shelby watch is designed and intended to last a lifetime.
